Rapid City Independence Day Tea Party
The Rapid City Independence Day Tea Party was a great success! Upwards of 1,000 people came out to wave their limited-government signs along Omaha Street and 5th Street. Attendees then heard a program at the bandshell in Memorial Park which consisted of patriotic songs, a tribute to veterans injured in service to our country, a presentation on the cap and trade global warming tax, and a presentation on government health care.
People who came bought t-shirts, bumper stickers and other Citizens for Liberty merchandise. They also bought patriotic books and raffle tickets for a beautiful patriotic painting.
Below is a picture slideshow from the event, along with videos taken at the Tea Party.
